A message from Cathy . . .

A little bit about myself. I was originally from the Midwest before locating to Georgia. I have been happily married for many years, have two grown children and grandchildren. After raising my children I started a second career which has led me to where I am today. I received a Masters Degree in Social Work and Certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of GA. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW). I have experienced working with all different age groups who have dealt with various issues that one can face over a lifetime. 

I use a practical common sense approach towards goal-oriented therapy. My focus is establishing a collaborative approach with clients which empowers them to learn and implement techniques to reach their desired goals; enhance their overall functioning and well-being. There are times I believe it best to use a combination of treatment methods to meet individual's needs; helping clients discover what works best for their success. I look forward to working with you and assisting you on your journey to becoming your best self.
